This place is pretty epic. Let's start with that line. It's likely one of the best stocked Asian groceries around.The store is pretty large for what it is. The selection of goods is huge with a fair sized fresh section and ample frozen good. They do even have some kitchen ware and dinnerware as well.From water chestnuts to self heating ramen they got it.Prices tend to be a bit high if you are from Ontario but for here it's perfectly acceptable given the less developed supply chain for the items.Parking is a bit limited given the size of the building but street parking is an option in the area.The location is fairly good, not super far from either downtown Halifax or downtown Dartmouth.Overall highly recommend it as a general Asian gorcery.

Amazing variety of items to choose from. Spices, Produce, Dry Goods, Frozen Delicacies and Cooking Equipment. Prices are comparable to local grocery chains if not better.

a very nice shop with a good selection and variety of pantry items, and a great frozen selection. Great for sauces, drinks, and spices. Prices are are reasonable, comparable to other import shops in town. Can be hard to find price tags as shelves and fridges are so full, but things are usually well labelled for English speakers. Usually good stock levels for pantry ad freezer items, but the fresh shelves can be a bit bare some days.

Great little shop with a ton of snacks, fresh produce and frozen items. Would recommend for anyone looking to try something new and unique that you wouldn't see in Sobeys or the like. Friendly service with a smile was appreciated! Sales are close to the front on a rack, which is good if you're looking to save a few bucks and don't mind rapidly approaching BB dates.

Just found this hidden gem, probably the biggest chinese grocery store in Halifax area. a wide range of chinese food, anything you need to make genuine chinese food, you can find there. my photos just show 1/10 of what they have.

The prices are a bit high of some items but much cheaper on others, like quality sushi rice. The frozen seafood section is good for the variety offered, but many vegetable items or others are cheaper at No Frills or Sobeys. It's a large, very well organized, and clean store compared to other Asian grocery stores.

One of the best Asian grocery stores in HRM. Union Foodmart is clean, has a huge selection of items, and everything has a price tag. The store is brightly lit and there is even a fresh produce section. They have a whole aisle just for bubble tea products. The staff are nice and helpful and could point you in the direction of what you are looking for. There are only a few parking spaces on their property but there are side streets available nearby. There is always something new to discover at Union Foodmart as they are always bringing in new inventory.

Great store! Much larger than I was expecting! So many different products, very clean, and very friendly staff members. Will definitely be coming back!

I love this store!! I went in yesterday to see what they had and I ended up buying a lot of great items!!! I got udon soup... it was Great!!!! I was especially shocked because it's a package soup from the freezer... it was delicious!!! There was a lot of meat and vegetables in it!!! Super yummy overall... however the sodium was pretty high so I won't have that all the time!! I also bought some hot sauce for my husband and some tea and bubbles for me!!
